My name is Gwen Maynard, also known by my shamanic name, Medicine with Wings. I am a Reiki Master Teacher and Shamanic Practitioner devoted to supporting others on their healing journey.

My path into this work began in 2021, but the truth is… the sensitivity, awareness, and calling to hold space for others has been with me for much longer.

I am trained in Usui Reiki Levels I, II, Master, and Teacher, along with advanced studies in Cross-Cultural Shamanism, Shamanic Reiki, and the Munay Ki Rites of Passage. My Reiki lineage is rooted in the teachings of Lisa Guyman, and my shamanic training was completed through the Wyzdom Dvine Mystery School.

While these certifications are important, it is my lived experience… my own healing, growth, and life journey… that truly shapes the way I hold space today.

My Journey

Originally from Pennsylvania, I later made my way to Colorado with my husband of over 30 years, where we raised our three children, who are now walking their own paths.

Like many of the clients I now serve, I have experienced seasons of emotional depth, transition, and transformation. These experiences became the foundation of my work, allowing me to meet others with understanding, compassion, and presence.

My Work

I take a grounded, intuitive, and personalized approach to healing.

Each session is tailored to the individual, supporting physical, emotional, and spiritual well-being. I work with clients from all walks of life, including those navigating anxiety, trauma, life transitions, chronic stress, pregnancy, cancer journeys, and more.

My role is not to fix or force change, but to gently guide and support you as your own healing unfolds.

If at any time I feel another practitioner or modality would better serve you, I am always happy to provide referrals. Your well-being comes first.

Devotion to Learning & Service

I believe healing is an ongoing journey, and I remain a devoted student of this work.

I am honored to serve as a LifeSpark Cancer Resource provider, offering Reiki to individuals during and after their cancer treatments. This work is especially meaningful to me and reflects my commitment to compassionate care.
